Alma ibérica is presented as an original choreographic creation that fuses classical Spanish tradition with the contemporary expression of flamenco, carried by Cristina Cazorla's unique universe: an ode to the cultural roots and emotional intensity of Iberia, designed to move, fascinate and celebrate the deep soul of Spain through dance.
The choreography is inspired by escuela bolera (traditional dance codified in Spain) and the roots of flamenco, but revisited with finesse and sensitivity. The theme is the strength of blood, the memory of the soil, the irresistible duende.
Cristina Cazorla She began dancing at an early age and trained at the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza Mariemma in Madrid, where she graduated with an extraordinary promotion award. She then went on to study dance at the Conservatorio Superior de Danza Maria de Ávila, specialising in Spanish dance choreography with a certificate of professionalism in cultural programming.
An expert dancer from the Escuela Bolera, Cristina has worked with a number of leading Spanish dance companies, including those directed by Antonio Najarro, Sara Cano, Aída Gómez, Sergio Bernal, Carmen Cortés and Antonio Márquez, often in solo or lead roles.
Cristina Cazorla is also a well-known choreographer.
